This was a small personal project that I was inspired to work on - I am a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda series. (My favourite being Majora's mask, second to Breath of the Wild!) I wanted to make a scene based in a dark room and bold coloured lighting, and the trailer/first scene in The Tears of the Kingdom game grabbed me.

I made the original sketch on procreate, which then evolved into what was the bare bones of the Clip Studio animation - and I kept it going from there. Eventually moving to After Effects to finish of the compositing. It was through this project that I started to really get the hang of After Effects and the visuals I wanted to create on top of my animations. Particularly the 'bloom' effect with lighting, which really gives an amazing lighting effect that's really effortless if done right.

I am really happy with how this one turned out! I hope to make some more small scenes with this quality in the future.
